my hair is medium sized. i have layer cut. but i noticed some small hairs on top of my head which are way smaller then my front hairs. does dat mean i am growing more hair?

You can have new growth or you could have some broken off. Did your hair dresser, use a thinning scissors on your hair. That could cut off some shorter.
