Help me go blonde!?

i want to go blonde, not bleached. i want a dark undertone, but i want it to be brown and subtle...but still noticible. definitly not black though. my hair is medium brown and comes about 2 inches below my collarbone, and i have sideswept bangs. i would cut a little bit off, but not too much. can anyone help...preferably include pictures.

definately go to a good salon. DON'T try to do it yourself. I say this from personal experience. I had to go around with orange hair for a week because my hair was too fried from the beach to dye it back.

I would be the last person to help you, but I don't criticize you, either. Many people, especially women, want an appearance that is not naturally who they are. I wish you luck.

Sounds like you're looking for allover highlights. My suggestion: comb the fashion magazines for the color that you want and take that to your salon. Be very specific about what you want. Your stylist isn't a mind reader. :) Good luck. It should be fairly easy to find the color on a celeb because they'll all soon be "transitioning" to summer colors as well.

well i have never dyed my hair blonde, but i do experiment with reddish tones. becareful with blonde, because it can dry out your hair. i recomend that you use Garnier Nutrisse, its about $7 (a little on the pricey side) but its the best hair color ive ever used. oh and dont dye your hair more often than every two months or its gonna break and get very brittle.

What you will have to do is bleach it then put a toner on it of what color blonde you would like! Or you could get lots of hi-lites. Do you have a place that sells professional color go there to get the color and ask for advice! Let me know how it turns out! GOOD LUCK!!
