How should I look on my first day of middle school?

Hi, (don't mind the username, it's my bad humor)

Our school policy for dress codes is pretty much locked- solid cargo pants/shorts w/ uniform T-shirt. I was wondering what to do with my hair, etc. I am open to suggestions- I am 4' 7" or something like that, light-medium tanned Asian, black hair, which is short-medium cut, a bit like a bowl, really, and 10 pounds overweight. I also need tips on how to act to people on the first day. Do I say Hi to them or introduce myself? Do I act funny or be the quiet kid? I already have 7 friends that go to the school I'm going to, and they're older, so I have the upper hand. So just give tips, ok?

When you first get there don't worry kids are shy to they will talk to you try to beat them to it by saying Hi i'm ........ and they will talk back you guys might become friends it depends on your interests.

Just be yourself. There really isn't any need to try to be somebody your not. Wear your hair/clothing how ever you do on a usual day.

If you have classes with your friends then hang around with them and eventaully you will get to know others. If you don't, then introduce yourself to others if you feel comfortable with that. If not then don't feel pressured to do something you don't want to. When I entered middle school and even highschool I didn't have much classes with my friends, but by the end of the year I made a whole new group of friends.

I'm sure you'll have a great first day and a fun year! Just remember to do your actually school work :)

ok just to tell u i am ganna be in 7th grade soon im just on my dads account lolz.
