i'm looking for a haircut that's a little more edgy. sorta like an emo cut, but not as extreme. currently have medium length auburn hair and oval face. pics are great!

go to google.com and click on the pictures/photo link in the upper left corner, I think, and put in what type of style you are searching for "emo cuts for medium length hair" and use the quotes are you'll get results that have nothing to do with what you want. You might have to reword it a couple of times but you'll find the pictures you want.

I put in "prom hairstyles" and got like over 10,000 results.

you are asking a question that people can't answer because it is YOUR decision. Go to a book store, get some short hair magazines...then talk to your stylist and make the decision. I have short hair (and LOVE IT!) and that is exactly what I did.

i like a crop cut, i recently cut my hair short. i had long hair, to my butt, and i recently cut it shorter in the back and longer towards the face, i love it and you could mess around with the color some too. its fun to try new things and its just hair anyways so if u dont like it, u can let it grow or change the color. good luck!

When your face is oval, you have more choices than other face shapes.

Look at magazines and pictures and choose one that you would like best.

Try to find a style that you don't have to spend hours preparing in the morning.
