How can I cut my own layers. My hair is medium length and straight.?

I want more of a sexy volume look.

Pull your hair into a ponytail so that it sits at your hairline in the middle of your forehead. Secure it with a ponytail holder. Then pull the ponytail straight out and cut straight across. I would suggest cutting a little at a time until you get the look you want. This will not take any length off of the bottom but will give you even layers all over and some great face framing. I have done this for years!

Find someone who has their hair cut like you want yours and ask them WHO they go to to cut their hair. Most people will be willing to tell you the name of the person who cuts their hair. I always do. I tell them to tell the person I sent them to them, too.

I get the impression that you want to cut your own hair. I will not tell you how to do that. It's a skill and not just a thing that you go in the bathroom to do for fun, IF you get stuck you will be really mad at me.
