I have long auburn/brown hair that is layered. I need to know....should I cut it short or medium length. If I cut it medium ...do you think it will get rid of most my split ends?

you should try to cut your hair at the first layer and start over with your hair to grow long or short again and only condition the ends of your hair. You should try butter milk for your hair it makes it soft and smooth. But it you don't want to cut your hair at the first layer then just gradually keep up with your layers and cut the spits off. If you have sit ends your hair stops growing.

Let your hair stylist take a look at your hair and have her determine how bad the split ends are and how much hair to cut off.
