A question for any HAIRSTYLISTS...?

I am somewhat confused. I am wanting to get my haircut this week, but for my entire life (im 21 now), i've always somehow gotten a bad hairdresser and over paid for the haircut. I want to know what questions I can ask to be sure that the hairstylist I am going to knows what they are doing.

I am also asian and was wondering if hairstylists of any other race than asian, get taught a special way to cut asian hair since it grows much differently, etc. Thanks so much. By the way, I have a round face, seemingly big head, and forehead, so what I want is a medium/short length cut, that gives me lots of volume at the back and top of my head (since its always the flattest part of my hair, as compared to the ends, which always have enough volume) Anyways, I want to hide or make my head seem smaller anyhow, with a complimenting haircut....any ideas (what kinda layers, bangs, no bangs, etc etc)? Thanks!

I think you should stick to the nice straight hair you asiam have. You do have beautiful hair which is quite think..Id get you hair layered to give lil ooomph. If you wish too add colour id stick to your natural browns/blacks as i think this will go with your face more. But id have too see you and try different colour samples to work this out.

It should not cost you anymore than $80 - $100.00 for your style. Depends on the salon and how much they pay for there products which will depend on your overall cost.

GOOD LUCK CHICK!
